Dear NCCC Members,
As we begin the month of July, I extend my best wishes to you and your families for a safe and enjoyable Independence Day.
Many of you have likely received the recent message from our National President via email. If you have not received it, please let me know, and I will be happy to forward it to you. (I received multiple copies myself.) The National IT Director has been made aware of the duplicate email issue, though he may not be aware of specific members who did not receive it. If that applies to you, please reach out so we can ensure your contact information is up to date.
President Deb’s message includes details regarding a proposed increase in national dues, scheduled to take effect with the 2026 membership renewal cycle. The proposed renewal rates are:
- Primary, Enthusiast, and Associate Members: $35
- Spouse, Companion, and Youth Members: $15
This proposal will be presented for a vote at the National Meeting in September. If approved, the change will take effect immediately. If the proposal is not approved, dues will remain at their current rates, which have been unchanged for over forty years.
I encourage all members to share their opinions on this proposal with their club governor. Governors will cast their votes on behalf of their clubs. As East Region Executive, I will summarize and report the collective vote of our region’s clubs in the following format:
X – Clubs in favor, Y – Clubs opposed, Z – Clubs abstaining.

On a more personal note—and while not directly related to Corvettes—I’ve spoken with many members who are facing the rising costs of prescription medications. For several years, I have used a Canadian pharmacy that offers significant savings, particularly on Tier 2 and Tier 3 medications.
